Highly Responsive Cushioning

Nike uses ZoomX foam to deliver high energy return while maintaining the stability required for uneven trails.

Trail-Focused Ride

The cushioning is engineered to remain responsive while supporting control during longer off-road efforts.

Exposed Heel Foam

ZoomX is more exposed around the heel to enhance the responsive sensation through landing and transition.

Long-Distance Efficiency

The combination of lightweight cushioning and energy return helps support sustained trail-racing efforts.

Full-Length Construction

A carbon-fibre plate extends through the length of the cushioning platform.

Improved Flexibility

Nike reduced the stiffness compared with the previous Ultrafly configuration.

Technical Trail Control

The softer plate tuning allows the shoe to adapt more naturally to uneven surfaces and changing terrain.

Efficient Forward Movement

The plate works together with ZoomX foam to support smooth and efficient trail-racing transitions.

Trail Grip

The Ultrafly Trail uses a Vibram® Megagrip outsole for enhanced off-road traction.

Wet-Terrain Performance

Megagrip is designed to maintain dependable grip across wet and challenging trail surfaces.

Strategic Lugs

Lugs are positioned to support traction during climbing, descending and directional changes.

Weight-Conscious Design

The outsole construction balances durable traction with the lightweight priorities of a racing shoe.

Lightweight Mesh

Lightweight mesh maintains airflow during longer trail-running sessions.

Durable Construction

Nike engineers the upper to withstand the demands of regular off-road use.

Water Drainage

The upper is designed to allow water to drain after puddles, streams and other wet trail sections.

Not a Waterproof Shoe

The design prioritizes breathability and drainage rather than waterproof membrane construction.

Hyper Crimson

Hyper Crimson provides the bright orange-red foundation that defines this exact colorway.

Total Orange

Total Orange adds another vivid warm tone and reinforces the high-visibility trail-racing aesthetic.

Vivid Purple

Purple accents introduce contrast against the dominant orange and crimson tones.
